Zero-Tolerance Technology
Special mechanically expanding designs are used to reduce some multiple-fit clearances inside the scope to absolute zero to assure point of impact integrity, focus and parallax-free performance throughout the zoom range. |
|
4x Improved Scratch and Corrosion Resistance
Hard-Coat anodizing Class II Type III for the maximum in scratch resistance. Three times thicker than other brands using a softer Type II anodizing. |
|
100% Premium Metallic Components
The use of premium metallic components provides highest quality and outstanding durability in our scopes. Burris uses 360 brass for erector cells instead of aluminium which many of the competitors use, this provides much better accuracy and consistent performance. The clicker and adjustment rings are made of case-hardened high performance steel for a lifetime of performance. |
|
Super Solid Mono Tubes
Outer tubes are machined in one piece for maximum integrity from thick solid aircraft-grade aluminum extrusion. Critical areas have been thickened to provide an extremely strong foundation for every scope. |
|
100% Consistent Accuracy Thanks to 2x Stronger Cam Tubes
The internal cam tubes are made from a very high tensile strength 7075-T6 aluminum alloy to assure point of impact integrity, focus and parallax-free performance throughout the zoom range. |
|
2x Improved Accuracy for Point of Impact
Double internal spring force is applied to the internal zoom system to assure point of impact integrity under severe recoil or transportation. Other scopes only use one spring. |
|
2x Improved Sealing Performance
Unique Quad Seals are used in some areas to provide double sealing insurance against fogging. Quad seal with four sealing points instead of two sealing points used for other scopes. |
|
Rigorous Durability Testing
Burris scopes are tested to withstand extreme 70 G of force (60x more force than a Saturn V rocket has to take in a maximum boost phase). |
|
100% Fogproof Thanks to Nitrogen Filling
Every scope is filled with nitrogen which is then vacuumed out of the scope. This is repeated 24 times to assure absolutely no moisture is left in the scope. A final filling of laboratory-grade nitrogen is left in each scope. Moisture can reduce the optical performance (fogging) and harm the lenses and mechanical components. Therefore, Burris has implemented the general principle to fill all scopes with Nitrogen and to use the best sealing technology (Quad Seals) to prevent regular air from entering the scope. |
|
Highest Light Transmission Thanks to Advanced Coating Technology
Burris lenses are broad band multi-coated to ensure best light transmission results. Burris applies several coatings to each lens surface with each coating being only 1 nanometer thick. The advanced coating technology reduces reflections, increases the light transmission, ensures true colours and best contrast. |

Optical Excellence
The optical quality of each scope is rigorously tested. |
